I won't be going to the doctor tomorrow morning after all. This morning I was pretty sure my water had broken (I won't go into gross detail - you're welcome), so I called the office to let them know what happened and see what Doc thought. He wanted to check me out right away. Apparently, I just had a lot of mucus coming out, not a membrane rupture. The good news is I am 75-80% effaced, so if I have to be induced I will have a favorable cervix. However, I am not dilated at all. We certainly hope I will get to experience labor on my own (!!!), but if it doesn't happen before, I will be induced Monday, July 27 at 9am.
I appreciate everyone's fun comments and support. We are very excited!

ohhhh, lol, I just looked at the date. Sorry. Still....two weeks!! In two weeks mer you'll have a little kid that you created! How weird. I guess I just can't get over the fact that we're all (cousins) old enough to have our own kids. I still feel like we're kids!! I really don't remember growing up....mmmmmk, I realize I just stepped in to that one, lol.

Hey, AP. From what I'd read and been told, every woman's is different. Some trickle, some gush. When I called and explained what happened, they were pretty certain my water had broken. But nope! :)
It's ok, Linds. I didn't write it at first. When the hospital called with the date I went back and changed it. That might be why you didn't see it.
Haley, apparently the best time for induction is between 41 and 42 weeks. After that you risk hurting the baby. But if I could make this baby come now, I DEF. WOULD. I don't want to wait that long! I hope Natalie is right!
Yay for a step forward to Henry arriving! I will be praying he will contine to "work" his way out much sooner than the 27th!
I can tell this Henry is a funny guy already!! Tricking us into thinking he would be here today-- well played little one!

Come on little guy, we really want to hold you! I gotta say, I was getting really nervous for you today as I was getting ready to leave for Durham...I almost got sick! I don't think I'm ready for another one quite yet....
Peace be with you these next couple of days. I know you must be anticipating greatly what the next week holds! Enjoy sitting in that sweet nursery and imagining what it'll be like once he's there. A new chapter is beginning and it sounds like the page is already turning!

I totally remember the waiting Mer, Alexa was a week late! I definitely hope he comes on his own...the experience in our family has always been inductions are harder...and longer for that matter.

Ahhh.. thae water breaking! It's the best thing ever. It's like the biggest sigh of relief you'll ever experience. At least until he' 22 and telling you he wants a ride to church!

I love him moo! He's sooo flippin' cute and I've only seen him in pictures! I can only imagine what he looks like in person!!! What a little darling :) He's currently my cell phone background (your mom texted pics). I can't wait to meet the little guy! Take pics of Dobby meeting H!!!
