The New Year

On Thursday Keith, Henry, and I began the trek to Knoxville for our annual New Year's Eve and belated Christmas celebration with the Dangels. This year we also celebrated Phil's upcoming birthday, since it's a big one. (I won't tell!) We arrived about 8:00pm. Henry was thrilled to see Boomer (now "Boomy") had set up his old Thomas trains for him. On Friday Paul, Sandy, and Shelby arrived. We spent the weekend playing with the kids, eating, playing Playstation, watching football, eating, and eating. On Friday and Sunday Boomer was kind enough to run with me. We left very early Monday morning and had a quick breakfast with our friends Kelly, Kyle, and Noah, who moved to Knoxville in August, on the way out of town. 

 After playing at the park, Henry fell asleep next to the trains.

 Uh-oh! Henry is opening Big Papi's present!
