In the fall of 2010 I jumped at the new opportunity to teach hybrid classes. (Hybrid = half online, half face-to-face.) It meant even more time at home with Henry, which was worth the extra reading/grading I would have to do online. I especially enjoyed the fact that we only missed dinner as a family one night each week.
In November when our spring schedules were posted, I was excited to see I got the same Mon/Wed schedule and I thought it said room 129, which is the classroom assigned to hybrids. Yesterday I realized I was wrong; it says 128. So I now have 5 days to convert my syllabus back to a traditional format. And 4 days to prepare my Sunday school lesson.
Sigh. I hate it when December is over.
